Balcon de Castillo is an exiting and unique brand new development of one, two and three bedroomed apartments,all built to a very high standard. situated in the beautiful Andalucian village of Casarabonela on the fringes of the National park known as the “Sierras de las Nieves”; this park was declared by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve in 1995.
Built at the top of the village on Calle Hierro, the views from EVERY apartment are truly spectacular, and from most of them it is possible to see the Mediterranean. The design of the development is in keeping with the general ambience of the rest of the village, but it still stands out as a truly original building.
There is not a pool at the apartments but within 200 yards there is an Olympic sized swimming pool at the top of the village, a restaurant and bar and the most amazing views to the Mediterraneanand the Guadalhorce valley.

Casarabonela is an ancient village, though of Roman origin, the Arabs were responsible for the character and layout of this lovely village with its white façades, narrow streets and steep slopes. In 1574, according to the Village Charter conserved in the municipal archives, Philip II granted it full village status.
There are 7 restaurants in the village and in the surrounding area many more offering a variety of menus.
Local places of interest include the Town Hall, St. James Parish Church, and the caves of La Hoguera, Fuentequebrada and Las Columnas, the Arabs reinforced the old Roman fortress above the village and the ruins of a Moorish castle remain above the village. Ronda is less than an hour away through some of the most spectacular scenery in southern Spain, and Seville and Jerezare both less than two hours away.
The views from the town hall square and the apartments are spectacular to say the least; the village is surrounded by olive trees, avocadoes and fruit trees and the area is rich in flora and fauna.
From the airport to the Balcon is only 40 minutes, a pick up and drop off service to and from the airport is available if required.The beaches of the Costa del Solare 45 minutes to an hour away. Granada and the Sierra Nevada’s are just 90 minutes away It is possible to ski in the morning and swim in the Mediterranean in the afternoon!
